- Brandy
Brandy is distilled wine, usually 40–60% by volume and includes Cognac, Armagnac,
Brandy de Jerez and Lourinhã. They are best drunk from a tulip-shaped glass
or a snifter, at cool room temperature.
- Gin
Gin is flavored with juniper berries. A well-made gin will be relatively
dry
and is often mixed in cocktails with sweeter ingredients like tonic water or
vermouth to balance this dryness.

Rum is made from molasses and sugarcane juice and aged in oak and other casks.
Premium brands of rum are also available that are made to be consumed neat or
on the rocks.

Tequila is comes from Tequila, a town in Mexico. It is made from the blue agave

is usually made at a 38–40% alcohol content.
- Vodka
Vodka is a clear liquid made from potatoes, grain or molasses, and usually has
an alcohol content of 35% to 50% by volume. The classic Russian, Lithuanian
and Polish vodka is 40%.
- Whisky
Whisky is made from grain mash and aged in wooden casks. Scotch whiskies are
generally distilled twice and the two basic types of Scotch are Malt and Grain.
